Tiki culture came about in the 1930s in the United States.
It all started at a restaurant in California called “Don the Beachcomber” and was well known in the local area for it’s Polynesian theme.
The cool decor of the restaurant soon caught on with the people who went there, as they all fell in love with the South Pacific vibe. This gave birth to the Tiki culture. Everyone wanted a piece of tropical paradise and went crazy for it.
It inspired Hollywood movies, themed parties and even music. The vibe that Tiki gave off was one of happiness, exoticness and carefree times.
Below we have carefully collated a collection of Tiki fonts is that you can incorporate into your relaxed island vibe designs.
